Actuarial Consultant - Pricing R&D Specialist

Become a pivotal part of Wawanesa’s team as an Actuarial Consultant focusing on Pricing Research and Development. Work hybrid to influence data-driven pricing strategies across the organization.

In this role, you will improve pricing sophistication through data analysis and mentorship in a supportive, hybrid work environment. Collaborating with pricing leaders, you'll enhance loss cost models, support business processes, and foster continuous learning within the actuarial team. This position is suitable for both experienced consultants and those transitioning into senior roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and manipulate comprehensive data for analysis

• Assess existing procedures and propose enhancements

• Lead automation initiatives for routine processes

• Provide mentorship to junior actuarial analysts

• Regularly update stakeholders with project progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline

• Over 6 years of actuarial experience is advantageous

• Familiarity with machine learning and pricing models

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Proven competency in managing multiple assignments
