Our client, a leading player in the packaging industry, is seeking a talented and ambitious sales leader ready to take on the role of Director of Sales. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4 account representatives and 3 customer service representatives.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets.

Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.

Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues promptly.

Analyze market trends and provide insights to the team to stay ahead of the competition.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve company goals.

Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Stay updated with industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for growth.

Train and develop team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.

Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the plastic and packaging industry, with a focus on flexible packaging, consumer packaging, and food packaging.

Proven track record in managing and mentoring sales teams.

Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions.

Results‑driven and customer‑focused mindset.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Willingness to travel as needed.
