Step into a full time hybrid managerial role in Brampton, ON rsee metering services and lead operational efficiency with solid regulatory knowledge and technical expertise. This temporary contract position requires overseeing wholesale metering operations, reporting to the Director, Metering Services, ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering customer relationships, and driving business development initiatives while managing departmental budgets and strategic projects. Your technical leadership will be key in shaping metering systems and directing operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee wholesale metering function and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide technical leadership on metering systems and technologies
- Design and implement operational improvements for efficiency
- Manage IESO registration and site maintenance activities
- Lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
- Minimum five years in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software
