Temporary Manager, Metering Services

Alectra is seeking a Temporary Manager for Metering Services located in Brampton, ON. Drive operational performance and compliance in a hybrid work workplace focused on quality service and client relations. In this role, you will lead metering operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while developing solid client relationships. You will also implement strategies to optimize productivity and support the registration process with IESO.

This position is vital for overseeing high‑quality service delivery in wholesale metering.

• Report on metering services and oversee regulatory compliance
• Implement technological advancements in metering systems
• Manage departmental budgets and maintain project timelines
• Coordinate audits and Meter Trouble Report investigations
• Develop training and engagement strategies for staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Valid P.Eng. designation and regulatory knowledge
• At least five years in a leadership or management capacity
• Robust relationship‑building and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation
