Hybrid Senior Accounting Manager

Drive group accounting operations in a hybrid role with a prominent Canadian brand based in Brampton. We're seeking a CPA experienced in consolidations to lead and develop a high-performing team.

This newly created position involves leading accounting operations while implementing scalable financial controls. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in corporate accounting and the ability to innovate and enhance processes. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams and have visibility into the CFO’s office, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and establish accounting operations for a new brand

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Develop financial controls and processes from inception

• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and External Audit

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax standards

Requirements:

• CPA designation with experience in consolidations

• 2-3 years as a manager or senior manager

• 6+ years post-graduate experience

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards

• Proven leadership and management skills
