Subcontract Program Manager

Position: MDA Space Subcontract Program Manager
Lead innovative subcontracting programs at MDA Space, managing missions for domestic and international clients. Focus on R&D, space station servicing, and deep space exploration responsibilities.

As a Subcontract Program Manager, you will oversee multi-disciplinary teams to navigate technical challenges and meet strict schedules. Your expertise in risk management will be key in maintaining customer relations, ensuring adherence to budgets, and enhancing MDA’s reputation in the global space industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead program teams to fulfill technical and schedule needs

• Ensure program budget and cost compliance

• Negotiate subcontracting terms with customers

• Participate in program and design reviews regularly

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience

• Background in aerospace or military mission-critical hardware

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field

• Experience with subcontract initiation and oversight

• Strong knowledge of PMBOK and risk management practices
