GoalVita Centre is a non‑profit charitable organization serving the Peel region, dedicated to providing excellent support, education, and counselling to vulnerable families, including pregnant and parenting youth, with the goal of empowering them to move forward and thrive. Through the Bingo Volunteer position you will support the financial stability of Vita Centre, allowing the organization to continue delivering its mission.
Description- Represent Vita Centre by providing exceptional customer service to Bingo players, answering their questions about Vita Centre and the Bingo game, and responding to assistance requests.
Vita Centre is currently recruiting Bingo Volunteers for start ASAP. Volunteers with profiles within Volunteer MBC's Referral System can access the Vita Centre volunteer application form by clicking the yellow “Apply Now!” box. Complete the application, follow the instructions, and your contact information will be added to the list of applicants. After submitting the form, please monitor your email (including Junk/Spam folders) and leave space on your voicemail for communications from Vita Centre.

- Confirmation of hours completed and/or reference letter (provided upon request) after a minimum of 20 hours have been completed.

- Ability to stand or walk around the Bingo Hall for up to 2 hours at a time.
- Minimum volunteer commitment of 6 months.
- Punctual, reliable, able to volunteer with minimal supervision.
- Committed to abide by Bingo Hall policies and procedures, and to complete mandatory training.
- Adherence to Bingo Hall dress code (you will receive a shirt to wear during your shifts).
- Minimum Age: 18;
Maximum Age: 99. - Police check, driver’s licence, resume, and proof of vaccination are not required.
Screening of applicants will be virtual unless otherwise advised.
Time CommitmentThis is a long‑term commitment (more than 6 months) starting 2025‑10‑16 and ending 2026‑04‑28.
Shifts are available on the following days:
- Thursday morning, Thursday afternoon.
Monthly, on Thursday:
One 2‑hour shift per month (Thursday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM). Volunteers should consider travel time to arrive promptly for their shift.
General orientation to Vita Centre and online AODA training are provided. The Bingo Hall will offer training related to your role. Volunteer applicants selected by the Centre must complete all required training successfully.
