Join the 2026 Brampton Kidney Walk as a volunteer and support Canadians facing kidney disease. This is your chance to gain valuable skills while giving back to the community.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is looking for dedicated Event Day Volunteers for the upcoming walk on September 27, 2026. This opportunity allows those aged 13 and older to earn community service hours while developing skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork. Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the walk is enjoyable and safe for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of the event
• Register walk participants and provide a warm welcome
• Marshal participants along the walking route
• Support event staff in various tasks to ensure safety
• Engage with attendees and enhance their experience
Requirements:
• Must be at least 13 years old
• Friendly and comfortable working outdoors
• Capable of carrying light materials if required
• Enjoy teamwork and independent tasks equally
• Previous volunteer experience preferred but not essential
