Field Representative – Eastern Ontario (Ottawa, Belleville) Area  As an ideal candidate, you must have a background in sales and be interested in energy efficiency. Knowledge of lighting fundamentals is an asset. Successful candidates must possess a professional demeanour and be comfortable leading a sales pitch, providing education and canvassing business owners. Access to a late‑model vehicle will be required.
Field Representative's main responsibilities   By on‑site visits, introduce and sell business owners to the concept of energy efficiency and the tremendous incentives available via the SBL program.
Work independently and as part of a team to engage small commercial businesses in utility‑funded energy conservation opportunities.
Deliver Energy and Lighting assessments.
Meet local utility defined targets.
Education & Experience required   Completion of a post‑secondary degree or relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, attentive to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for working within the energy and environment sector.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Must be computer literate.
Technical knowledge of lighting and lighting systems is an asset.
Multilingual ability (English/French) considered an asset.
