Role Description The Sales and Leasing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This role is responsible for assisting customers with selecting, test-driving, and purchasing or leasing vehicles, while providing clear information on pricing, features, financing, and lease options. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting vehicle options, preparing lease and sales documentation, and coordinating with the finance and service departments.
The consultant will follow up with prospective and existing customers to support resident and client retention, maintain accurate records in dealership systems, and meet individual and team sales targets. This position requires a professional approach to customer service, adherence to dealership processes, and active participation in showroom and lot presentations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of leases, including lease structures, terms, and options, and the ability to explain them clearly to customers.
- Experience with lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and processing lease and sales documentation accurately.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and respond to customer needs in a professional manner.
- Resident and client retention skills, including follow-up practices, relationship management, and a focus on long-term customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in automotive sales, leasing, or a related sales environment is an asset.
- Comfort using dealership software, CRM tools, and basic office applications to manage customer information and sales activities.
- Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as required, and to stand and move around the showroom and lot for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility to operate dealership vehicles.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is considered an advantage.
