Power Technician

Position: Power Technician 2
Elevate your career with Aggreko as a Power Technician 2 based in Brampton, ON. This role involves maintaining and repairing power generators and electrical equipment with local travel opportunities.

In this full-time position, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, troubleshoot equipment failures, and set up equipment at customer sites. With over 5 years of experience required in diesel and natural gas power systems, you will work both independently and alongside other technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance on power generators and diesel engines

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures on-site

• Commission and set up canopy generators for operations

• Perform inspections and maintenance according to safety standards

• Maintain effective communication with customers and team

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent

• 5+ years working with Cummins diesel generators

• Journeyman HET or Journeyman Electrician certification

• Ability to read schematics and calculate operational needs

• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift objects
