• Work Site Environment:
  Noisy, fast‑paced, physically demanding, weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Interpret welding process specifications, welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
• Operate manual or semi‑automatic, fully automated welding equipment and flame‑cutting equipment.
• Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Fit, braze and torch‑straighten metal.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate previously set‑up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience:
  
  7 months to less than 1 year in welding or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
• Physical capability to handle up to 23 kg weight and work in noisy, fast‑paced environment.
