Americold Forklift Operator

Position: Americold Forklift Operator Role
Join Americold as a Forklift Operator and contribute to food safety and logistics. You will manage equipment operations to support efficient storage, shipment, and safety adherence.

In this position, you will be an integral member of the team, utilizing various forklifts and other equipment to manage food products effectively.

Your role requires not only loading and unloading freight but also ensuring that safety protocols are strictly followed. A strong candidate will have a solid work ethic and the ability to consistently meet production expectations while maintaining a clean working space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload freight

• Stack and store products while checking for damage

• Maintain an orderly workspace in compliance with OSHA

• Assist in inventory management and equipment cleaning

• Tackle other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least three months of related experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation

• Capability to work in temperature-controlled environments

• Dependable attendance and punctuality in shifts
