Heavy Equipment Operator for Alamos Gold

Be a key player in Alamos Gold's infrastructure team in Dubreuilville, Ontario as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This full-time role focuses on equipment operation and maintenance.

You will report to the Site Services Supervisor and are responsible for maintenance of storage areas and transportation of materials. With at least 5 years of experience in equipment operation, you will ensure the safe handling and operation of machinery. Effective communication and a commitment to safety protocols are essential in this physically demanding position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently

• Manage loading and unloading of materials

• Conduct equipment inspections before and after use

• Excavate trenches and ensure good housekeeping

• Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience

• Training in slinging and rigging techniques

• Familiar with WHMIS regulations

• Adaptable to changing workplace conditions
