Residential Meter Installer

Become a Residential Meter Installer with Peel Region in Brampton. This full-time onsite position focuses on installing, testing, and maintaining water meters while ensuring customer satisfaction.

As a Meter Installer in the Public Works Operations Support, you will perform various installations and repairs.

Your role includes liaising with builders and customers, troubleshooting meter complaints, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You will also maintain detailed daily reports on installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new meters and associated devices at residential properties

• Liaise with builders and customers to address installation needs

• Investigate customer bill complaints and implement solutions

• Check for meter irregularities and assist with plumbing issues

• Complete accurate daily timesheets with installation data

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction or plumbing experience

• MOL Water Meter Installer certification required

• Valid Class G driver’s license in good standing

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
