- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years Tasks - Assemble mechanical equipment
- Assemble stationary industrial machinery
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Supervise other workers
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Installing machinery and equipment Equipment and machinery experience
- Automated and robotic system
- Industrial and stationary engine
- Lathes and other machining tools
- Power tools
- Tool grinders Support for newcomers and refugees
- Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
