Diagnose and repair heavy trucks with GFL Environmental as a 310T Mechanic in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Work full-time across shop and outdoor settings.
This full-time mechanic role focuses on maintaining trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment for safe, road-ready operation. You will use repair tools, complete safety inspections, document work, and maintain reporting in the M5 program. The position includes physical work and varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair heavy trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment
- Complete repair paperwork and document parts usage
- Conduct safety inspections and report equipment deterioration
- Inspect, remove, and replace vehicle tires
- Maintain inventory and reporting in the M5 program
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate
- Three to five years of work experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Basic hand tools and willingness to obtain additional tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
