The Apprentice Plumber works across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities include reading specifications, determining piping requirements, marking fixture locations, and joining pipes. The work supports plumbing installations and repairs at various locations, including residential properties, industrial settings, and construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Install domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Measure, thread, and bend pipes
Join pipes using specified connection methods
Requirements:
English language ability
Other trades certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
One year to less than two years of experience
Ability to work in confined and wet spaces
Ability to handle heavy loads and physical demands
Apply plumbing installation, blueprint reading, and pipe-fitting skills across demanding residential, commercial, and industrial worksites.
