Content Creator Student (Term)

Are you a post‑secondary student with a passion for creating engaging visual content? The Communications team at MASC is looking for a Content Creator Summer Student to produce short and long‑form video content to support our marketing campaigns and social media channels. In this role you will be a crucial part of our team by:

• Strategizing content ideas to support our multiple marketing and brand campaigns.
• Writing video briefs and/or scripts for videos.
• Planning content creation opportunities, coordinating with internal subject matter experts and clients.
• Producing visual and video content to be utilized in marketing campaigns.

* The successful applicant must be available to work for the duration of the term. Preference will be given to students furthering their education in the fall.

• Enrolled in a post‑secondary Marketing, Media/Communications, Agriculture, or Agribusiness program.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, One Drive, Excel, Word, Outlook) in a cloud‑based environment.

• Copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience with photo and video editing software.
• Comfortable being behind the camera and/or directing others on camera.
• Experience in creating engaging content to drive awareness, engagement, or conversion.
• Comfortable following brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent voice.
• General knowledge of the agriculture industry considered an asset.

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
• Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required.

SALARY: $19.31 to $21.91 per hour, depending on education and experience.
