As a key advisor to Chief and Council, you will ensure all financial operations align with community expectations and regulatory frameworks. This role enhances the financial systems and fosters a community-focused culture while managing risks and complying with financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic financial planning and management

• Execute comprehensive budgeting and reporting

• Establish financial objectives aligned with community needs

• Assess financial risks and implement controls

• Facilitate the year-end audit process

Requirements:

• Degree in finance or accounting with senior experience

• CPA or CAFM preferred

• Familiarity with Indigenous governance and finance

• Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
