Position: Financial Officer for Municipal Operations
Drive fiscal responsibility as the Financial Officer at the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford. Oversee financial management, asset protection, and risk management to ensure efficient operations.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Financial Officer will manage the municipality's financial administration. This role demands expertise in financial reporting, budget monitoring, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy of financial records and taxation systems

• Prepare monthly financial statements and compliance reports

• Monitor budgets and capital projects for accountability

• Administer accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions

• Coordinate year-end audits and legislative filings

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in finance or related field

• CPA or CMA designation is an asset

• Experience in municipal finance or leadership roles

• Proficient in computerized accounting systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
