Housekeeping Manager

The Clarion Hotel & Suites is searching for a Housekeeping Manager. This position will require high visibility and the desire to interact with employees and guests while performing floor shifts. Strong skills in leadership, communication, organization and attention to detail are required. Only candidates that have a positive customer service attitude will be considered. What you will learn:

You will learn a full working knowledge of the hotel's housekeeping operations. Successful applicants will learn how to schedule employees, count and verify housekeeping inventories as well as how to order supplies and equipment. The successful candidate will attend department and management meetings, as well as professional development courses and workshops.

Through the guidance of the General Manager, oversee and support the daily operations of the housekeeping department by providing consistent quality through co-ordination of daily activities. Ensure the room assignments are actioned while verifying minutes per room and wage cost are in line. Monitor and provide guidance for staff, and ensure proper procedures, policies and standards are being enforced.
