Director of Resident Care at Extendicare

Extendicare is looking for a dedicated individual who will take charge of directing resident care with a priority on satisfaction and compliance. In this full-time managerial position, you will lead nursing staff and ensure that care plans are effectively implemented. Your leadership will promote a safe and ethical environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high resident satisfaction and quality care delivery

• Oversee development and implementation of care plans

• Manage recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff

• Promote an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare

• Attend to family, resident, and advocate care issues

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in geriatric care management

• Current RN license valid in Manitoba

• Strong knowledge of MDS/Care Management systems

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Experience with in multi-union environments
