McPhail Travel is a well-established, professional travel agency that has been specializing in corporate, leisure, cruise, and group travel since 1984.
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the agency while helping clients plan memorable travel experiences. Responsibilities include travel coordination, booking management, supplier communication, and preparing customized travel proposals.

Key Responsibilities- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Research, plan, and book domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Prepare customized travel proposals and itineraries.
- Book flights, accommodations, cruises, tours, travel insurance, and related services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and travel suppliers.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after travel.
- Assist with general travel agency administration and daily office operations.
- Manage multiple bookings while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience with CRS (Customer Reservation Systems) and travel industry software is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
- Demonstrated consultative selling skills with a focus on understanding client needs.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
