Excavator Operator

Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel Ltd. is one of Westman's fastest growing commercial heavy equipment contractors, specializing in gravel, sewer & waterworks, and earthworks. We take pride in providing efficient, reliable service and are currently looking to add an experienced and reliable Excavator Operator to our dynamic team.

• Experienced excavator operator with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Able to operate and manage a crew in a fast-paced environment.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• A valid Class 1 Driver's Licence is considered an asset.

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks.
• Pre-operational checks, including cleaning, lubricating and refilling, as necessary.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures, including preparing and completing safety reports and documentation.
• Ensuring that company equipment and materials are well-maintained, kept clean, and stored appropriately.
• Direct contact with management and contractors.
• Assigning duties and managing a crew in a fast-paced environment.
