Hydrovac Assistant

As part of our team in Charlotte, NC, you will contribute to safe dig operations with cutting‑edge equipment and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in operating hydrovac equipment in diverse environments, including confined spaces
• Attend regular safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment
• Prepare work areas with appropriate safety measures and hazard mitigation
• Accurately document and report company, federal, state, and customer paperwork

• Valid driver's license
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs
• Able to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work variable shifts with extended hours
• Available to work weekends as needed

• Prior experience operating hydrovac equipment or in a related industrial role (excavation, utility work, vacuum truck, construction, oil & gas, environmental services)
• Experience performing routine equipment inspections and minor repairs in an industrial or field setting
• Experience completing job‑site paperwork and documentation (safety forms, customer forms, regulatory paperwork, daily reports)
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification
• OSHA 10 certification
• Fall Protection training/certification
• Experience working in a customer‑facing role on job sites

• Union wages starting at $20.00/hour and up, based on experience, with opportunities for pay increases and career advancement
