Construction Equipment Welder Mechanic

Location: Virden

Join RFNOW Inc. as a Welder/Mechanic focusing on medium and heavy-duty equipment maintenance. Engage in diverse tasks that keep our construction fleet running smoothly throughout the year.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various machinery, including plows and trucks. This role is perfect for someone independent who enjoys solving mechanical challenges. You will perform welding tasks, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety protocols while working in a stimulating garage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute welding tasks using diverse techniques

• Assemble and fabricate metal structures from blueprints

• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance tasks

• Keep detailed records of all work performed

Requirements:

• Technical certification in welding/mechanics strongly preferred

• At least 2 years of relevant experience required

• Capacity to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

• Class 5 Driver's License mandatory, Class 3 preferred

• Strong communication and analytical capabilities
