Millwright Position MB

Seek a skilled Millwright position with Chemtrade in Brandon, MB, delivering efficient maintenance and repair work in an industrial setting. You'll focus on preventative and predictive tasks as per work orders.

As a dedicated Millwright, you'll report to the Maintenance Supervisor, taking ownership of maintenance, inspection, and repair of various plant equipment like pumps and conveyors. This role requires collaboration with other tradespeople and hands-on experience in a factory environment, ensuring a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair plant equipment efficiently

• Conduct preventative maintenance programs regularly

• Track hours and parts using the Work Order system

• Assist trades-persons and supervise apprentices

• Participate actively in ES&H meetings and training

Requirements:

• Red Seal Journeyperson ticket in Millwrighting

• Minimum 5 years in a journeyman maintenance role

• Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance

• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills

• Willingness to work overtime and on call
