Part Time Maintenance Aide

Support Extendicare Hillcrest Place as a part time Maintenance Aide in Brandon, Manitoba. Perform repairs, maintenance operations, and ensure safety for residents in this hands-on role.

This part time position reports to the Environmental Services Manager and involves executing routine repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. You will also maintain the grounds and fulfill essential housekeeping duties while promoting a safe and ethical environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute routine repairs on facility equipment and systems

• Perform minor carpentry and maintenance tasks outdoors

• Conduct regular inspections and file safety reports

• Uphold organization’s values relating to ethics and integrity

• Complete housekeeping and assigned handyman duties

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions

• Self-regulated and capable of independent work

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
