Heavy Equipment Operator in Manitoba

Location: Virden

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for its team in Virden or Brandon, MB. This role focuses on operating excavators and maintaining safety standards in fiber internet installations.

You will work closely with the Construction and Maintenance Team, conducting equipment inspections and performing general labor as required. Your responsibilities will include transportation of materials to job sites and securing items properly. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, offering a solid benefits package for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain equipment daily

• Operate excavators for telecom excavation

• Assist in loading and unloading materials

• Report immediately on equipment hazards

• Follow all safety procedures rigorously

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license required

• Prior experience with heavy equipment is preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Must be authorized to work in Canada

• Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols
