Step into a full-time role as a Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic with Prairie Mountain Health, focusing on HVAC installation and maintenance. Your technical skills will enhance patient and staff comfort in health facilities.

This position is based in the Capital & Infrastructure department at Brandon Regional Health Centre. We seek an experienced professional who is a certified Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic, adept in working with building automation systems. You will ensure compliance with health codes and have strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment

• Oversee compliance with MOPIA/ODS regulations

• Update and maintain equipment schematics

• Engage in meetings and collaborate with other departments

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Refrigeration Air Conditioning Mechanic certification

• Four years of commercial HVAC experience

• Familiarity with building codes and regulations

• Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License

• Demonstrated ability to work independently
