Experienced Millwright

Position: Experienced Millwright with Chemtrade
Join Chemtrade as an experienced Millwright in Brandon, MB, where your skills in preventive maintenance will be crucial. This full-time role includes overtime as needed to meet business demands.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your job will encompass a variety of critical tasks, such as installing, inspecting, and troubleshooting industrial equipment. Your past industrial experience combined with hands-on skills will be pivotal in creating a safe and efficient work environment while assisting fellow tradespeople as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and install diverse plant equipment

• Maintain logs of maintenance activities

• Use Work Order systems to manage equipment history

• Support and supervise apprentices on-site

• Provide safety recommendations in ES&H programs

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson ticket in Industrial Mechanic

• Over 5 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Capability to lift 40 lbs independently

• Excellent teamwork and independent work abilities

• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call
