A Career in Motion
At Amey Motorsports, we don?t just specialize in one thing. We are looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined individual to join our service team as a Technician. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a recent graduate from an automotive pre-employment program, we offer a unique opportunity to become a multi-platform expert.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostic repair, and assembly of a wide range of premium recreational vehicles. Your day-to-day will involve:
- BRP Specialization: Working on industry-leading Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am products.
- Marine Service: Cross-training in boat repair and inboard/outboard systems.
- Utility & Leisure: Diagnostics and repair of golf carts and other specialty vehicles.
- The "Mechanical Mind": You understand how things work. Whether it?s a 2-stroke engine or a complex electrical system, you have the "mechanical DNA" to figure it out.
- Versatility: You?re excited to jump from a snowmobile to a boat to a golf cart. You enjoy variety and the challenge of learning different systems.
- Problem Solvers: You don?t just swap parts; you find the root cause.
- Detail-Oriented: A bolt is never "just tight enough"?it?s torqued to spec. You take pride in a clean, professional repair.
- Physical Capability: This is a demanding job. You must be able to lift heavy components, work in awkward positions (bending, reaching, crouching), and stay on your feet throughout your shift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an Automotive Pre-Employment program is a major asset (we value formal foundational training).
- Previous experience as a technician is preferred, but a strong mechanical aptitude and a "can-do" attitude can be considered equivalent.
- Valid driver?s license (Class 6 license is a plus).
- Comprehensive Paid Training: We provide official BRP training with a clear path to becoming a Certified Master Technician
. - Cross-Training Opportunities: Gain specialized skills in marine repair and electric/gas golf cart systems
?expertise that is highly valued in the industry. - Modern Shop Environment: Work with the latest diagnostic tools and premium brands.
- The Team: Join a family-friend-oriented business where we work hard but keep the atmosphere professional and supportive.
- Compensation: We start technicians between $24 - $35 per hour. You can also borrow demo units!
If you?re ready to build a diverse skill set and start your journey toward becoming a Master Tech, please send your resume and a brief note to Curt Amey ?
