HVAC Apprentice at CIMCO

CIMCO is hiring an HVAC Apprentice eager to develop skills in refrigeration systems. This dual-role entails preventative maintenance and client interaction.

As an HVAC Apprentice, you will either operate independently or as part of a team, performing vital maintenance services for our esteemed customer base. You should be prepared to fit into an on-call rotation and to offer recommendations on maintenance upgrades. This role will also involve adhering to health and safety practices, ensuring all operations are carried out safely and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance for customer refrigeration systems

• Identify and report necessary upgrades to clients

• Participate in an on-call schedule throughout the year

• Follow health and safety procedures rigorously

• Work collaboratively, whether independently or in teams

Requirements:

Required:

Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License or be in apprenticeship

• Advantageous:
Gas Fitter license and controls experience

• Preferred:
Familiarity with ammonia or CO2 refrigerants

• Must have excellent communication skills

• Teamwork and independent work capabilities
