Seasonal Soil Technician in Western

This full-time role runs from September 1 to December 1, with potential casual opportunities in winter and full-time work in spring. You will navigate rural roads, engage with farmers, and operate specialized hydraulic sampling equipment. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for ensuring precise data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel safely to assigned farm locations

• Communicate effectively with growers and team members

• Utilize GPS mapping software for site navigation

• Operate hydraulic soil sampling equipment

• Record and ship soil samples accurately

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with rural driving experience

• Background in agriculture preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and follow protocols

• Willingness to travel and stay in hotels
