Position: Broadband Technician at WESTMAN COMMUNICATIONS
Become part of the team at WESTMAN COMMUNICATIONS GROUP as a Broadband Construction Technician. Engage in installation and repair work while delivering outstanding customer experiences across Manitoba.

This role focuses on constructing and maintaining broadband infrastructure. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Electronics or Telecommunications and relevant certifications. The position necessitates familiarity with network installation and an ability to function effectively in various working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair broadband infrastructure

• Repair faulty coaxial and fibre optic cables

• Update daily documentation on all work performed

• Conduct signal leakage monitoring using advanced equipment

• Complete manhole work and adhere to policies

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent is required

• 2 years post-secondary education in a related field

• Experience in electronic or network installation

• Ability to read fibre optic plant maps

• Valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights
