Building Maintenance Technician

Position: Building Maintenance Technician Prairie Mountain Health
Location: Neepawa

Ensure safety and upkeep as a Building Maintenance Technician with Prairie Mountain Health. This role requires hands-on work in various trades and preventive maintenance for facilities.

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will utilize your knowledge in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, and other building trades. With at least two years of experience, you’ll tackle daily maintenance tasks while supporting other trades with repairs and installations. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to the safety and appearance of all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain grounds and buildings in safe, clean condition

• Clear driveways and exits of snow and debris

• Perform tasks in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical trades

• Execute preventative maintenance and keep detailed records

• Respond to emergency calls and on-call duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum two years in a building trade

• Completion of apprenticeship in a relevant trade preferred

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Class 5 Drivers Licence and personal vehicle access

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
