RFNOW Drill Operator

Position: Join RFNOW as a Drill Operator
Location: Virden

RFNOW Inc. seeks a motivated Directional Drill Operator for our Construction and Maintenance Team in Virden or Brandon, Manitoba. Engage in dynamic operations to install fiber optic infrastructure effectively.

In this role, you will manage various directional drilling operations, utilizing advanced rigs like the JT920. Your daily tasks will include thorough equipment inspections, maintenance duties, and active participation in fiber optic projects, all conducted with a commitment to safety. The role emphasizes effective communication and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate JT25, JT20, and JT920 directional drill rigs

• Maintain and inspect equipment regularly

• Transport materials to and from job sites safely

• Complete necessary logs and paperwork accurately

• Assist in general labor duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license

• Preferred experience in heavy equipment operation

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of utility locates around existing infrastructure

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
