RFNOW Inc. is hiring Fiber Splicing Technicians to maintain and install fiber internet infrastructure effectively. This role includes independent work and collaboration for project completion.

In this technician role, you will splice and test fiber optic cables both underground and above ground, handle troubleshooting, and interpret work plans efficiently. The position is ideal for candidates who are motivated and disciplined, with the opportunity to receive training if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Splice and test fiber optic cables in various plant applications

• Troubleshoot and repair faults in splicing

• Interpret and follow splicing and placing work plans

• Travel to various work sites as required

• Work overtime in diverse weather conditions as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in fiber optics is beneficial

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with clean record

• Familiarity with OTDR and testing protocols preferred

• Willing to work nights or weekends if necessary

• Self-motivated with a commitment to efficiency
