Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Operator, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Brandon Terminal Ltd is a wholesale fertilizer distribution center serving Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan. We are a high paced, year-round terminal that works daily with railway cars, large trucks, and wheeled loaders.

Operator - is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of all on site equipment. This role includes daily maintenance and mechanical repair of all machines and storage facility equipment.

• Align with Brandon Terminal Ltd?s Health Safety and Environmental management plan and systems
• Operation/maintenance of wheeled loaders, railcar movers, and skid steers
• Operation/maintenance of all fertilizer handling equipment (bucket elevators, screw augers)
• Daily servicing and maintenance of equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work longer hours if required
• Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment that is forever changing
• Valid Class 5 driver?s license

• Show strong commitment to safety
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license
• Be comfortable working outside in a variety of weather conditions.
• The ability to lift and move heavy materials consistently
• Be comfortable working at heights.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends throughout the year and especially in busier agricultural seasons.
• Mechanical knowledge is an asset
• Heavy equipment experience is an asset
