Refrigeration Apprentice Opportunity at CIMCO

Seize the opportunity to become a Refrigeration Apprentice r role will focus on maintenance, upgrades, and effective communication while operating in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

CIMCO is looking for driven individuals to join as Refrigeration Apprentices, ideal for those without experience up to Journeyman level. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting deficiencies, and reporting upgrade necessities to account managers. Participate in safety procedures and be ready for on-call duties while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance on customers' refrigeration systems

• Identify and document required system upgrades

• Work independently or as part of a mobile team

• Participate in on-call rotation year-round

• Follow all established health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Must be a 1st to 4th year apprentice or Journeyman

• A Gas Fitter license is a significant asset

• Previous exposure to ammonia or CO2 refrigerants preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Basic experience with controls is beneficial
