Commercial Installer Lead

Job Description:

New Construction and Renovation aluminum door/window installation. Insulated glass sealed units and some custom glass. Installation of other architectural products, hands‑on service experience with windows and doors in commercial projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, shop drawings or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
• Install aluminum doors and windows using hand and power tools
• Prepare and clean up the work area as necessary
• Process consistency
• Follow all health and safety procedures as necessary
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications:

• Must currently reside in Canada
• Strong customer service skills are a must
• Ability to think fast on your feet and confidently problem solve on the job site
• Experience installing windows and doors
• Experience with commercial aluminum system
• Able to work independently and/or with a team
• Reliable, independent and organized
• Valid Driver?s License
• Fall arrest training or aerial lift truck knowledge is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, reports)
• Attention to detail and respectful to company property/possessions
• Flexible to perform service jobs when required
• Able to read, understand and perform site measurements
• Follow detailed instructions efficiently and effectively
• Willing to travel
