Fiber Installation Technician Needed

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of fiber optics and related devices in both residential and commercial environments. RFNOW values professionalism and efficiency as you troubleshoot and maintain connections for clients, using advanced tools like OTDRs for accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and test fiber optic cables in diverse locations

• Fit media converters, ONTs, switches, and routers expertly

• Utilize OTDR and other testing tools for optimal performance

• Setup CAT5/6 wiring in adherence to safety guidelines

• Respectfully interact with clients throughout the installation process

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in underground construction preferred

• Familiarity with fiber optic testing equipment beneficial

• Valid driver's license with a clean record required

• Willingness to complete a vulnerable sector check

• Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to sites
