Your role will support the vital installation of fiber optic networks using state-of-the-art drill rigs.

As a Directional Drill Operator, you will play a crucial role within our Construction and Maintenance Team, handling daily operations focused on the installation of fiber infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include operating directional drills and ensuring equipment safety through regular inspections and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate directional drill rigs for fiber optic construction

• Inspect and maintain equipment for safe operations

• Transport materials and secure loads during transport

• Assist in general labor tasks as required

• Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements:

• Must possess a Class 1 or Class 3 license

• Experience with heavy construction equipment preferred

• Strong communication skills are essential

• Familiar with utility location processes

• Authorized to work in Canada
