Inland Truck & Equipment is looking for an Apprentice Truck and Transport Technician. You will gain on-the-job training while being responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks under the mentorship of experienced technicians. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional development in a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs on various diesel trucks efficiently
• Document all work performed and communicate needs with supervisors
• Undertake road tests of vehicles when required
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance regulations
• Participate in technical training sessions provided by manufacturers
Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ practical experience as a Truck and Transport Technician
• Registered as an apprentice with the Yukon Apprenticeship Board
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Airbrake Endorsement
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to think critically
• Must be available for varied shifts and overtime hours
