As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with our team, you will carry out preventative maintenance and accurately diagnose repairs on our vehicles. You are expected to maintain records, ensure part availability, and uphold safety protocols consistently. A Red Seal or equivalent qualification and substantial experience in vehicle repairs are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on company equipment

• Diagnose failures and execute necessary repairs promptly

• Record repairs accurately in company paperwork

• Ensure parts are ready before disassemblies

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Red Seal or equivalent in Truck Transport or Heavy Duty

• Required valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1 or 3 with Air Brake endorsement is preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspections and repairs

• Basic mechanical knowledge and strong communication skills

• Must possess personal tools and be safety conscious
