Experienced Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic

Tri-Wave Construction Ltd. is hiring a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic in a full-time, permanent capacity with benefits. You will ensure the reliability of our equipment through skilled repairs and maintenance.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough inspections, accurately diagnosing issues, and executing repairs on our construction trucks. Emphasis is placed on safety, professionalism, and meticulous record-keeping. Applicants should hold a Red Seal or equivalent qualification, alongside a minimum of five years' applicable experience in vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections and identify defects

• Properly diagnose and remedy mechanical failures safely

• Keep accurate service records and repair documentation

• Verify parts availability before starting work

• Foster a safe and organized working environment

Requirements:

• Red Seal or equivalent certification in Truck Transport or Heavy Duty

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1 or 3 with Air Brake endorsement is advantageous

• At least 5 years of relevant experience required

• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication abilities

• Must have personal tools and be safety oriented
