In the role of Shop Technician at AgWest, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and other farm machinery. You will work in our well-equipped Brandon shop, providing top-notch service to ensure our customers’ equipment operates at peak performance.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a wide range of agricultural equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on tractors, combines, sprayers, and other heavy-duty agricultural machinery.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.

• Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent experience.
• Experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s licence.
