Join CIMCO as a Refrigeration Technician Apprentice, where you'll focus on maintenance, client communication, and team collaboration. This position involves a combination of on-site work and mobile assignments.
This role at CIMCO is for 1st to 4th year apprentices or those holding a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License. Responsibilities include executing preventative maintenance, participating in an on-call rotation, and delivering timely communication to customers regarding equipment upgrades. You will also actively engage in health and safety programs as part of our commitment to fostering a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement preventative maintenance checks
• Relay maintenance and upgrade information to clients
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
• Collaborate effectively within the team and with clients
Requirements:
• Must have a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License or be an apprentice
• Gas Fitter license and controls experience are beneficial
• Background with ammonia or CO2 refrigerants preferred
• Strong communication skills required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
