Ag Mechanic and Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ag Mechanic and Machenery Operator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of ag machinery and heavy trucks used on our farm. During seeding and harvest you will get to see your hard work pay off and operate a piece of machinery in the field.

Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining high standards of industrial maintenance.

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on ag machinery such as tractors, combines, field equipment, and heavy trucks
• Operate Ag machinery in the field during seeding, harvest and select other busy times of the year
• Work as part of a team to accomplish tasks
• Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment performance and implement improvements for operational efficiency

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing heavy machinery and ag equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues
• Familiarity with ordering parts and finding economical alternatives to OEM parts
• Welding experience is highly desirable
• Experience operating farm machinery and technology is highly desirable
• A basic understanding of crop production is preferred, but not needed
• Experience working with or around livestock is preferred, but not needed
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration
